  • Understand how the Table of Contents helps provide navigation, structure and makes the document more user-friendly.

  • Learn how to generate, modify and delete the Table of Contents.

  • The objective of this briefing is to give attendees a comprehensive understanding of how to plan for and create large Section 508 documents using MS Word. The briefing will also cover how to do preliminary work within the document to establish compliant Document Properties, Headers, Footers, Page Numbering, Styles, Images, Tables, etc.

Topic 11: Creating 508 Compliant Templates

  • The objective of this briefing is to give attendees a comprehensive understanding of how to create, modify and use Section 508 compliant Document Templates using MS Word. The briefing will also cover examples of compliant and non-compliant document templates, data fields, and form fields and how to bring them to compliancy.
