How do I format table headers in MS Word?

To format my table headers in MS Word, follow the instructions below:

  1. Hover over the table with your mouse and click on the small cross arrow box in the upper right corner to highlight the table:

  2. Right-click on the table and choose “Table Properties”:

  3. In the “Table Properties” box:
    1. Click on the “Row” Tab
    2. Uncheck “Allow row to break across pages”
    3. Click on the “OK” button

  1. Select the header row(s) of your table:

  2. Right-click on the table and choose “Table Properties”:

  3. In the “Table Properties” box:
    1. Click on the “Row” Tab
    2. Check “Repeat as header row at top of page”
    3. Click on the “OK” button
